My most-prayed prayers are wallet-size:
photos for the Father's eyes,
in purse or pocket tucked away
till some stirred thought on a dreary day.
I forget, though, when I pull one from its place,
He needs no detail of the face,
no inked reminder of the name
smudged on the back for lack of frame.
With cracked glossy finishes and corners torn
are prayers through intercession worn;
dearer to God for reflecting art
of capturing His cares through the lens of the heart.
